Jetour T1 is a modern and stylish car. But there is much more behind the attractive design than is given in the factory figures. 245 forces and 375 Nm are good, but not the limit. There are also some disadvantages in the work, such as jerks during switching, slow reaction to pressing the gas. Before chip tuning: 245 hp 375 Nm;
After chip tuning, IMCHIP: 295 hp 490 Nm;
The increase will be 50 hp. 115 Nm.
HOW DOES IT FEEL ON THE ROAD
- The dynamics have improved, the car has become noticeably faster. The car feels lighter, although the weight remains the same.;
- Instant response to pressing the accelerator pedal. There is a delay on the drain between pressing and the actual acceleration. After setting up, this pause disappears. You click, and the car drives. Without hesitation in normal mode, without failures at low revs when accelerating from a standstill, as well as overtaking. It gives you a feeling of complete control over the car.;
- The automatic transmission works more responsively and elastically. After chip tuning, the matching between the engine and the gearbox becomes more accurate. Switching happens at the right moment without any twitching or delay;
- Acceleration time has been reduced. On the road, seconds matter: when entering an expressway with a short acceleration lane, when overtaking on a country road, when starting from a traffic light, when you want to feel the character of the car.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO FUEL CONSUMPTION
One of the frequent fears about chip tuning is: "won't the car eat more?". The logic is clear, but in practice everything works differently if you approach the firmware wisely.
With a balanced ride (that is, if you don't constantly race), fuel consumption may decrease. Why? Because after the firmware, the engine outputs the necessary thrust earlier – with less pressure on the accelerator pedal. You no longer need to hit the gas to accelerate or overtake with confidence.
In practice, owners notice a difference of up to 20%. In the city, the difference is less noticeable due to frequent stops, but it also shows up with steady traffic.
SOLVING THE OVERHEATING PROBLEM
The Jetour T1 engine can get hot, especially in urban mode with frequent stops, in traffic jams or when driving off-road. At the same time, the standard cooling control algorithms do not always work efficiently – the coolant temperature can rise to 100°C and above, although the safe norm is 85-90°C.
Smart chip tuning allows you to correct this situation. We are reconfiguring the control algorithms of the electronic thermostat so that the cooling system turns on earlier and maintains a stable temperature even in harsh conditions. As a result, the engine does not overheat and operates in a comfortable mode regardless of external conditions.
What does this setting provide:
the engine keeps a stable 85-90°C instead of jumps up to 100°C and above;
Engine oil retains its properties longer and requires less replacement.;
the risk of detonation is reduced;
rubber and plastic parts do not age prematurely from constant overheating;
increases the overall engine life and reliability in the long term.
ABOUT SECURITY AND WARRANTY
In IMCHIP, we take into account the real capabilities of the engine, without overloading. We do not touch environmental installations. Installation is performed through the standard OBD connector without opening the control unit. If necessary, you can roll back into the drain.
The dealer's warranty remains valid.
